Happy Birthday to Yordan Yovchev
Army men, Today legendary bulgarian athlete Yordan Yovchev celebrates his 50th birthday. He started his glorious gymnastics career at CSKA. Yovchev took part in six consecutive Olympic games between 1992 and 2012. Everybody at CSKA wishes Yordan Yovchev a lot of health, luck and personal success.
Our gymnastics took part in the Cup "Generali"
CSKA gymnastics contestants took part in the third edition of Cup "Generali" - tournament which is organized by Yordan Yovchev. In the competition at "Rakovski" hall participated 23 teams of the whole country. Our boys Dario Panayotov, Tsvetomir Kochev and Nikolay Mladenov ended the tournament on 5th position and our girls Nadezhda Genova, Nikita Bakalova and Kameliya Stoyanova took 9th place. The next competition in which our gymnastics will participate will be held at "Rakovski" hall on March 24th.

CSKA won 8 medals in Serbia (PHOTOS)
The CSKA competitors of gymnastics won 8 gold medals in strong international tournament which was held at Novi Sad, Serbia. Zdravko Dobrev won silver medal and Maksim Kaznadzhiev won bronze medal in the U12 boys category. Coach of the boys is Georgi Tasev. Elizabeth Nikolova ended at first place in the U12 girls category. Neli Tankusheva and Ilko Girov are her coaches. The six competitors which represented Bulgaria in the strong competition won the team cup.
Greta Banishka will participate in the Bulgarian National team at the World Cup
Greta Banishka, who is training in CSKA, will participate at the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup tournament, which will take place in the Sports Palace in Varna between the 1st and the 3rd of September, 2017. Banishka will take her part in two of the routines - floor and vault. Today our contestant participated in the selection training in four routines - vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor. The next important event for Greta is to prepare well for the two selection trainings, which will determine who will be the two contestants...
A CSKA coach needs our help
The CSKA artistic gymnastics coach Ilko Girov needs our help! Two months ago he was diagnosed with Retroperitoneal Liposarcoma - a very rare cancer type. On the 20th of July Ilko Girov underwent surgery, but this was not sufficient. The new intervention has to be made in the Curie Institute in Paris, but his family cannot afford the amoount needed - about € 40,000. We appeal the "red" society to donate and help one of us - Ilko Girov has developed many National champions since 1995, when he started coaching in CSKA. He has...
21 medals and a cup for the CSKA gymnasts
The CSKA gymnasts won 21 medals at the state personal junior championship so far. Tomorrow the tournament continues. The boys team also won the team competion.

Army men, The CSKA gymnastics club celebrates today it's 69th birthday. CSKA has given Bulgaria some of the most distinguished gymnasts in history, including legendary Yordan Yovchev. Happy birthday!
CSKA with 3 cups and 6 medals at the republican championship
The CSKA gymnatics teams won 3 cups in the first stage of the state team championship that was held in the Rakovski hall in Sofia. The senior and junior boys won gold, while the junior girls won bronze. The CSKA gymnasts won 6 medals in the competition. Zdravko Dobrev won the all around, while Maxim Kazandzhiev won bronze. Ruslan Delibaltov won silver. Evangerin-Yasmim Mihailova won gold and Nikol Sokolova finished second. Viktoria Chakova won gold in the all around. The second stage of the championship is in june.

Milko Tankushev: We always aim at the first place (VIDEO)
The president of the CSKA gymnastics club Milko Tankushev talked to CSKA.BG after the Yordan Yovchev tournament. Tankushev told us that the kids are always excited to meet legends like Yovchev in person and that CSKA will always aim at the first place in every sort of tournament. Two cups for CSKA from the first "Yordan Yovchev" tournament (VIDEO)
The CSKA gymnasts won 2 cups in the first "Yordan Yovchev" tournament for the Generali Cup today. The boys won the silver in the team competition and earned a lot of applause in the Rakovski hall. The girls won bronze medals. 14 clubs with 21 teams took part in the tournament - 10 boys and 11 girls teams. All participants got their prizes from Yordan Yovchev personally. CSKA with 2 teams at the Generali Cup
Boys and girls from the CSKA gymnastics club will take part in the Generali cup. The tournament will be held on 22.03. at 12:00 in the Rakosvski hall. The Generali cup is organized by gymnastics legend Yordan Yovchev. Only juniors are eligible. 10 boys and 11 girls teams have registered so far.
CSKA with the most medals at the Bulgaria cup
The CSKA gymnasts won the most medals at the Bulgaria cup 2017 in Plovdiv. They took part in all age categories. The gymnasts won a total of 18 medals - 4 gold, 5 silver and 9 bronze.
A cup and 2 medals for the gymnasts in Plovdiv
The CSKA gymnasts won 2 medals and one team cup at the Bulgaria cup in Plovdiv. Ivana Baramova won the gold in the all around for cadets. In the team ranking CSKA finished on second place. Greta Banishka won the silver in the all around for women. The team finished on 4th place. Elizabeth Nikolova finished 4th in the senior girls category. Neli Tankusheva and Ilko Girov were the coaches.
The CSKA juniors won the Bulgaria cup
The CSKA gymnastics club won the Bulgaria cup for juniors in Plovdiv in the U21 tournament. Slavi Tanev took silver in the all around. Danieal Alexiev finished 4th and Boris Dimitrov was on 8th place. The juniors finished with silver medals. The men's team won bronze and Martin Angelov won the 3rd place in the all around.
