CSKA's judo competitors won two medals from the Balkan Games for both male and female juniors, which took place in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Gabriela Dimitrova won silver at the 52-kg girls, and Georgi Dinev also took a silver medal in the 81 kg category for juniors. CSKA also had other representatives in the strong international tournament, who performed well but failed to fight for the awards. By the end of June, our competitors will be participating in strong international tournaments for different age groups.

The judo contestants of CSKA won 9 medals from the 3rd International tournament "Gladiator" which was held in Plovdiv. In which took part 678 competitors from 44 clubs of Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey and Macedonia. The competition covered age groups of 6-year-old children to men and women. Two CSKA judo contestants won bronze medals at the European Championship, which took place in the Czech capital Prague. Lyuboslav Grigorov struggled for the medal in the 52kg category for the teenagers up to 18 years old, while Kostadin Tsvetanov won the prize for the 90-kg youths up to 20 years. After our judo contestants won nine medals in the State Personal Championship for boys and girls on saturday yesterday our competitors won two more medals. Aleksandra Karaboykova won bronze medal in the 36kg category and Yasen Borisov also won bronze medal in +73kg category. On Saturday (February 24th) our judo contestants will fight for the medals of the SPC for girls and boys and on Sunday (February 25th) will be held the SPC for men and women U23.

The CSKA judo contestants won 7 medals from the State Personal Championship for Senior Boys and Girls. The competition was held at "Universiada" hall. In the tournament took part 22 our judo contestants, but most of them are competing in the junior age and for them was a challenge to participate in State Personal Championshop for older, as they presented with dignity and accumulated useful experience. The CSKA sambo competatives won 3 medals in the traditional tournament for boys "Orcho voyvoda" which was held at "Arena Asarel" in Panagyurishte. Kiril Mutafchiev (42 kg) won silver medal, Dimitar Kabaivanov (42 kg) and Ivan Simeonov won bronze medals. This was the last tournament for the CSKA sambo competitiors for this year.
