Bismark Charles underwent a successful surgery
CSKA striker Bismark Charles underwent a successful surgery at a prestigious clinic in the Spanish city of Valencia. The surgery was necessary after the player suffered a rupture of the quadriceps tendon on the eve of the Eternal derby with Levski in mid-April.
Bismark has undergone several extensive medical examinations after which CSKA's medical team has consulted leading experts from several foreign clinics to choose the best way to treat the trauma.
In the end, it was decided that the attacker would undergo a surgery, which was successful. Charles is expected to return to Bulgaria at the end of this week, after which he will start recovery at the club base in Pancharevo.
Preliminary forecasts indicate that the African will return to the normal training process in mid-August.
