CSKA started preparation for the spring half season

The footballers of CSKA started today their preparation for the spring half season with medical tests at the club base at Pancharevo. The Bulgarian players in the team, as well as the captain Jurgen Mattheij, Menno Koch and Bismarck Charles appeared on for a cardiogram and bicycle.

The second group of footballers who will undergo medicals will join their teammates, tomorrow January 6th. After the end of the medicals the players and coaching staff will travel to the Turkish resort Alanya, where the team will hold training camp.

At the beginning of the training the coach Stoycho Mladenov took the opportunity to wish Happy New Year to the staff, employees, and footballers of CSKA, as well as all of the fans of the 31 championship holders of Bulgaria.

"I want to wish before everything health to everyone, let 2022 be more successful for all of us - in personal and professional plan commented CSKA coach. – I'm hoping that all of the footballers will return healthy to us from the holidays and will be able to start training from the first day. Menno Koch is fully recovered and started training equally with everyone else."

"During our training camp in Turkey I expect to prepare the best way to start the spring part of the championship with a win against Lokomotiv Sofia. I’m hoping that these rotations, which we did during the fall part of the season, to be much more successful during the spring. Every footballer will get his chance and I believe that everyone will take advantage of it. We need to make the maximum of the upcoming friendlies against the opponents during the camp", added the coach of CSKA.

The Reds will travel to Terminal 2 of Sofia airport on Thursday at 19:20, and before the flight to Turkey Stoycho Mladenov will be available to the media.
